ReSurface is local-first. Your reminders live on your device.

What we collect

Nothing personal. ReSurface has no account, no login, and no server. Your reminder text, medication details, and schedules never leave your device.

Analytics

ReSurface records a small number of anonymous usage counts on your device (e.g. how many reminders were created or acted on) to understand whether reminders are actually helping. This data:

• contains no personal information and never your reminder text;
• stays on your device by default;
• can be turned off anytime in Settings → Anonymous analytics.

Crash and performance diagnostics use Apple’s MetricKit — aggregated and anonymized by the system.

Notifications

Reminders are delivered as local notifications scheduled on your device. We request notification permission so reminders can resurface; you can change this in iOS Settings.

Your data & deletion

Because everything is local, you are always in control. Settings → Delete all data removes every reminder from the device immediately. Deleting the app also removes all data.
