Cairn is on-device only. Your focus sessions and the keepsakes you forge live on your iPhone — nothing is uploaded.

What we collect

Nothing. Cairn has no account, no login, and no server. There is no tracking and no analytics SDK. Your sessions, subjects, streak, and keepsakes are stored locally on your device (and, if you use the widgets or Apple Watch, in a private on-device App Group shared only between Cairn and its own extensions).

Notifications

Cairn schedules a local end-of-session alert on your device so you know when a focus session completes. We request notification permission for this; you can change it anytime in iOS Settings. No notification content leaves your device.

Purchases

Cairn Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment — Cairn never sees your payment details. Restoring a purchase uses your Apple ID through Apple, not a Cairn account. Cairn Pro supports Family Sharing.

No blockchain, no NFT

Keepsakes are generated art rendered on your device. They are not blockchain tokens or NFTs, are never minted to any ledger, and are never sent anywhere.

Your data & deletion

Everything is local, so you are always in control. Deleting the app removes all Cairn data from your device immediately.

Children

Cairn does not collect any data from anyone, including children, and shows no ads.
